A bit of a late post. Last weekend we took Dexter to the spring festival at the royal Welsh. Coming 3rd in a very strong class. I'm very please with him. Our next two outing are our local national pony society area 29 on Monday then royal bath and West on Thursday. Both with romanyriver charade (dexter) and Radford Cascade (ruby)

The things we do to care for our horses and ponies. Sam is being dried as we wash him as the weather is slightly on the chilly side.

Most horses and ponies out naked today in this glorious sunshine

Home from a very long day 3:00 wake up call for the trip to bath and west show! We did well even if Daisy was a bit of a prat and Dexter felt good both achieved a 6th in their classes. Will also say Dexter was the highest placed gelding.
Ponies now out in paddock. Time to put other horses out then bed. Definitely like the new layout for the horse rings. Being away from the main road.

Ragworts spring up quite rapidly already and it's just the end of May. Must have been a mild winter . We normally don't see them springing up till late June /early July. Time to start the digging of ragworts
