Providing locally-focused radio for Bronglais Hospital and local healthcare communities in mid west Wales, Radio Bronglais is Aberystwyth’s hospital radio and a local community development project.
Radio Bronglais has been providing 24 /7 broadcasting to patients and staff of Bronglais Hospital and its associated services since 1970. It broadcasts through 87. 8FM and through its website, RBFMLIVE. co. uk.
In a wider focus, it aims to realise and support existing or potential links within the communities of mid west Wales, and to widen and improve communication within and between those communities. By supporting this, it aims to help develop a stronger, friendlier, and more unified society.
It hopes to achieve this by connecting and involving a variety of members from those communities, primarily through its main product – hospital radio – and secondarily through face-to-face befriending and community fundraising.
