Exceptional food and extremely good value considering the standard of food and pub. Meal for two, main, desert and lots to drink under £70. Great Sunday lunch.

Very good food but wine very expensive by the glass.

Had lunch here today - the food was of good quality, cooked well. The staff were very friendly and happy to help. I'm pleased we've found this place as it's difficult to find such a gem amongst all the uninspiring, lacklustre pub fare out there. We'll be back soon!

Brilliant as always. The switch to many different types of seafood is very tempting but I am still more of a turf than surf girl. The spinach and mushroom soup was absolutely amazing you could taste both flavours complementing the other perfectly. 😁

Delicious and fresh food in a very charming and welcoming environment. Had the plaice special which was cooked perfectly with an amazing caper sauce, new potatoes and salad. Yum. Great service and appreciate them being so nice about us bringing kids. Feeling super happy after an all round lovely dinner.

Fantastic food. We did have a small problem with one of the meals but the waiting staff and head chef were brilliant and the issue quickly remedied. Great menu, definitely recommend the large port chop dish and the monkfish

Really great service and an extensive menu with plenty of interesting choices. They even let us bring our bikes in and stoked up the fire to help us dry off.
