We were staying overnight in Holyhead on our way to Ireland. Having been recommended by the Stanley Arms to go to Raja's we were not disappointed. Food was delicious, one of the best Currie's I've had. Service was also good, with advice given on what to try and friendly attention. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant.

We visited with a group of eight on Saturday night. Our business did not seem to be welcome . We were not shown to a table. The initial drinks and poppadoms were extremely slow taking over 15 minutes. Delivering 7 cobras and a glass of wine! Hot plates delivered to table 15 minutes before meals. Waiter no idea of what he was serving! Our meal order was delivered after subsequent clients and over an hour after we entered and was missing two meals from the 8! The Cobra was warm . Food was good but service was atrocious........

Had to wait too long for a drink, wasn't asked if we would like Poppadoms, had to request a refill and even paying the bill wasn't easy! The Restaurant was almost empty so what would it be like on a busy night? Btw. Saturday night, Easter Bank holiday, WTF? the food wasn't bad though!

Awful, just awful. The waiter could not be bothered with us as he was to occupied with a supplier and seeing what's on on the TV. It felt like we were inconveniencing him. No music either so the ambience was terrible. Now for the food, we ordered king prawn jalfrezi and vegetable madras, not only did they look the same, a very brownish colour but they tasted the same, unflavoured and extremely oily. The prawns were overcooked and like rubber with hardly any peppers or chillies, the vegetable madras only had cauliflower for vegetables. This place has pretty much no redeeming features. Has terrible stomach the next day. Stay away.
