Our wine of the month for September is a Italian red from the Sicilian hills.
Passimiento Baglio Gibellina is a blend of fresh Frapatto and partially dried Nero d’Avola grapes grown at high altitude in the Sicilian hills. The rich concentrated red berry fruit is balanced by a lovely freshness.
... Something special made to be enjoyed everyday.

Went to rasoi new year's eve and had a fabulous time. Food excellent and service. We had to wait hour for our table, but was worth it. Thank you Suki and Mandy.xx

User

We were there to try out their afternoon tea. It was absolutely delicious. A nice change from the normal British afternoon tea. Would highly recommend. Will be back over the Easter period. Service was also spot on, very friendly staff who are keen to please 100%

User

We had a wonderful time as a party of 8 teachers. Very attentive staff with recommendations, holding out chairs for us and chatting about the menu. They honoured the two January birthday meals which were previous to the day. We will return!

User

Visited on a busy Friday evening with obvious flooding problems in the kitchen. However, not only was the service good but the food was outstanding. Our favourite Indian restaurant in the area. Highly recommended.

User

This place is second to none. Friendly staff with excellent service. The food is superb every visit. The setting is welcoming and couldn't recommend a better place to dine. Me and my wife do a 60 miles round trip just to go to this place as wouldn't go anywhere else. Plenty to choose from and the deserts are a must. Keep up the good work guys

User

Stunning restaurant staff were friendly and very welcoming there wasn't anything to complain about it's absolutely stunning there. This is by far the best I've ever been too and I would highly recommend anyone to eat here. Thanks for the outstanding service and meal

User

My husband and I love the Rasoi and always enjoy our meal there . Tonight we literally ate every last bite of our three courses which were delicious. We also had a very friendly waiter, Bilan who was very helpful and funny too. Highly recommend the desert platter. No matter how full you are! Yum!

User

Love the food here! Been a few times and always great. The only criticism is that the desserts let them down a little bit, but everything else is amazing!

User

Been twice now and the food is fab, little more pricey than other Indians probably due to its location ...but one thing I really struggled with is the shape on the cutlery!!!! It's a nightmare I struggled to cut my food as the knife was an awful shape and my friend and I found them a nightmare to eat with ..i taking own nxt time..

User

Third time I've been there was last night. The first two times were amazing. Last night wasn't as great. The food was incredible as ever but the service wasn't great. We had our drinks order taken but our drinks didn't come. One waitress kept aimlessly walking around like she was in a trance, hard to get her attention even though it was clear we'd then finished our drinks and wanted more. If she was busy this would've been understandable but she was literally just walking back and fore doing nothing.

Other than that all other staff were fantastic, and food was 5/5!

User

Have been here many times before and thoroughly enjoyed the food. But last night albeit lovely, it wasn’t up to its ‘rasoi’ Standard. Service was good although we did have to wait more than expected for our main meals. The korma I had tasted lovely but was more watered down than the normal korma I’ve had in which past here. Considering there is a large price jump compared to the local Indian takeaway, you expect more quality and prompt service. But overall the experience was good.

User

Food was nice , small portions but poor service.

Pre ordered 5 hours in advance for specific pick up time but was almost an hour late with 3 meals missing.

Had to drive back to pick up, all in all very frustrating.

User

Food great,, when finally got it,,, service very poor.

I bought gift vouchers for inlaws here for Christmas , when they went apparently it was freezing , when they complained they were told all other tables were booked, there was just two of them !! I mean really ?? My mother in law sat through her entire meal with her coat over her legs, not an enjoyable evening at all..... if you feel the cold avoid here !!

User

Couldn’t cope with the party in the garden building, took 20 minutes for drinks and 1:40 for mains. We asked what was going on and they told us there was a party . If you can’t handle numbers don’t do parties. Food portions were very small also. Downhill from here.

User

Arrived at 8:00 pm, ordered food at 8:20.

Papadoms didn’t show up but 35 mins later our starters did. It was then a full hour before our mains turned up.

Waiter apologised and said there were 2 parties going on, so what?!

Usually really good but last night we left a little disappointed.

User

Waited over an hour to get a dish. When it finally came we got lamb instead of chicken we ordered. Second drinks we ordered we had to ask later on where they are.. Then the waiter spilt the food down my new shirt and said it was my fault! Still paid for everything without even an apology! And not even a free drink offered! Terrible service.

User

Waited 90 mins for an over priced below standard meal. Never again.

User

Poor service. Waited an hour before we were asked if we wanted to make an order. When our drinks arrived they were tipped over us, although mistakes are made, the way we were dealt with was appalling.
