Autumn is fast approaching.
So why not go for a walk in between the rain showers and build up an appetite for Sunday lunch or dinner at Rasoi?
Enjoy one of our signature dishes with a refreshing Cobra beer or a glass of our wine of the month?
... It's what Sunday's are made for.

Went here for the 1st time on saturday 22nd July...booked table for 6:30pm! Sat down & order food by 6:45! Food arrived & it was steaming hot & so were the plates! Amazing food! & service!! Would go here again.. However....it is a bit on the expensive side! Food for 4(starter & mains) & a drink each was nearly £94!!

Went here for our works party, I have to say it was the best indian I have ever tasted! The food was out of this world and the staff were amazing! Such a lovely setting too definately recommend 👌

Want to thank all the staff for last night You looked after the 13 of us brilliantly last night even though the restaurant was packed and in full swing. The best curry restaurant in Swansea by a curry mile. Thank you. X

Omg amazing. Slightly more expensive than your average indian restaurant but you certainly get what you pay for. Service was prompt (We explained we only had an hour to spare) food was hot and so tasty. I had the lamb rogan josh which had huge chunks of lamb cooked to perfection. Probably cooked for hours in a slow cooker as meat was literally melting in my mouth. I had the streamed rice aka good old boiled rice. So light and fluffy. Couldn't fault the meal at all. Be warned though I did have to ask for water 3 times despite already ordering wine. I was so thirsty I was practically begging for a jug of water lol.

My husband & I love this restaurant. The food is delicious & plentiful, the wine perfect & the service is excellent. This is one of our favourite places to have a child free date night. Thank you Rasoi! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a lovely Sunday afternoon meal with friends service was second to none! Amazing! Very polite ..very attentive .. topped up our drinks/water as soon as they could see they needed to spot on! Faultless! Also food was gorgeous ..altho a little more sauce would of been nice with the Seabass on the lunchtime menu ...

Food was lovely little more expensive than other indian restaurants however you get what you pay for and food was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful especially as I wanted to try something different and was given advice by staff. My only criticism would be that service was to quick between meals. I would have preferred to have had at least ten minutes or more between courses. We arrived just before 8pm and was out by just after 9pm. My partner and I was expecting to make a nice relax night of it however was not given that opportunity. In that hour we had chutney tray , starters and main. Hoping to book for afternoon tea with a friend and hopefully will get more time to enjoy the experience

A fantastic meal at a wonderful restaurant with great staff. I took my parents there yesterday and all three of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We each had a different dishes and found each one, full of flavour and filling. The restaurant itself is well decorated in a modern design with a hint of Indian decor. All the staff working on the day were very friendly, helpful and sociable. We really enjoyed our visit to The Rasoi Waterfront and it has become our favourite Indian restaurant in Swansea. We look forward to returning soon.

Well 2nd or 3rd visit, we went for lunch and had the 2 course set menu with added hot bread, the starters were delicious & different the main I asked for a little less spicy as it was hot last time and hotter for my sister fabbbb! But have to say small main portions maybe include rice as lunch special because if a man had dined with us they would have been still hungry just saying!

I've been eager to try Rasoi Waterfront since its opening and - with a friend visiting from Paris - last weekend seemed like the perfect opportunity to see what all the fuss was about.

Upon arrival, we were welcomed & asked to wait whilst our table was prepared. This took around ten minutes. It would've been nice to have been offered a drink at this point, but as this didn't happen we entertained ourselves by checking out the stunning interior design instead. The lighting, music & general atmosphere of the place certainly impressed & we got the sense that this wasn't your standard Indian restaurant.

We were shown to our table & presented with the menu which had all the familiar curry dishes but also a great mix unusual appetisers & grills.

I opted for the Machi Chatpati - sea bass with Bombay potatoes & a curry/pistachio paste.

I normally eat a lot of fish but was interested to experience how it cooked in an Indian style. Something is not tried before.

It was the best sea bass I've ever had! Seasoned perfectly with a balanced spicy, citrus taste & pan fried to the ideal flaky texture. The portion size was more than ample. I only just managed to finish the two fillets. My only constructive feedback would be that my potatoes - although delicious - were slightly undercooked. Something easily fixed.

The staff were attentive despite the restaurant being busy & we left impressed & very much looking forward to a second visit.

Visited for the 1st time and although the decor is lovely overall it was a pretty poor experience and we won't be returning, wish I'd looked at reviews first tbh.

After 30 minutes waiting my husband approached a barman to ask for some drinks and menus. We was told that 2 staff had called in sick and 2 new members of staff had started that night - who both did a great job. But where is the management to offer themselves to cover a very busy shift and train new staff up?.

Ordered chutney tray - which was pretty boring compared to other Indian restaurants in swansea. Main meals were just bland, no real taste which was a shame because you don't expend to fork out £60 for a poor meal and experience.

We numerous customers asking 3 times for the bill so we decided to go to the bar and pay which was a lot quicker but the fact that it had taken 2 hours to receive drinks, chutney tray and main meals was ridiculous. Management really need to sort the staffing issue out which seems to be an ongoing problem when looking back at other reviews.

Third time visiting in the last few weeks, my girlfriend and I thought we would try the waterfront after having terrible service at the Pontardulais restaurant, where we waited over 1 hour 30 for food. At the waterfront our starters arrived before our drinks followed by a disappointing meal. We were not asked if our meals were ok by the staff. At the end of the meal we waited for the bill after asking, but decided we would pay at the bar after no response. The manager who took the payment didn’t even ask if we enjoyed or say thank you.

This is the last time we will visit the rasoi until things improve

User

The food was nice but service was absolutely terrible. We had to ask for someone to take our order and clear our plates and it wasn’t exactly busy! There were people who came in after us getting served before us as well. And my Coke was warm. If you don’t want heavily tattooed people coming to your restaurant just turn them away at the door rather than providing shitty service, next time I’ll take my partner to Patti Raj as the waiters are more attentive with less of the “I can’t do that I’ll get someone else to do it” bullshit. Also in the ladies there was one working loo and the door had a peep hole in it. Beware!

User

I really wanted to like it, but unfortunately this year when I visited with my boyfriend I noticed a drop coming from the ceiling above onto my food and the table surrounding it.

Upon calling waitstaff I was told that it was condensation from the air conditioning unit and nothing to worry about?!

I realise this probably isn't the fault of the restaurant as a whole, rather the remiss attitude of the staff member on our section that evening, but not only was food not replaced or discounted, but nothing done to prevent the leak from continuing. Meal was cut short and we ended up leaving. Such a shame.
