Red Dragon Vapour Blasting

Set of Honda 400/4 carbs stripped, vapourblasted,all ferrous metal parts rezinced, overhaul kits fitted and rebuilt. Customer is over the moon.

Dry blasted and a few welding repairs done but does anyone know what they are and what they are off?

Just after Christmas a customer brought this 1981 Honda CX500 to the shop for a complete restoration. The reason he wanted the bike restored is the mileage. It has covered only 305 miles since new!! It was put in a shed 38 years ago and forgotten, the shed roof fell in and the bike was left. It was recovered last year. Time had took its toll with rusted metal parts, corroded chrome, perished rubber etc. We set about putting it back to its former glory in January sourcing replacement parts from all over the globe. Images are from the start to finish of the resto.

Yamaha TDM850 twin crankcases and ancillaries vapourblasted and ready to go.

Had this BSA/Triumph TLS brake in to clean/service/polish. Came up really nice

Essential maintenance at Red Dragon 😊

Ford Escort Mk1 RS2000 carb and manifold restored by us. Carb was completely siezed. Stripped, body vapourblasted, new parts and re zinc plating of the throttle mechanism. Manifold vapourblasted.

Classic original pushrod engine block, head, clutch housing etc from an old mini engine. Cleaned, vapour blasted and ready to go.

Pair of SU carbs off a 1949 Jaguar XK120. Stripped vapour blasted and rebuilt. Got to love the brass linkages.

Pleased to announce our new service - Zinc plating. We can now zinc plate your smaller components that make that rebuild on your car or bike that much more special. Either clear/blue or yellow passivate can be applied. The image is of a few parts we have plated for a customer.

We've had a lot of unusual and interesting things in to restore and this has to rank among the rarest. It's a handbrake lever off a 1930's Bugatti. You'd get some leverage with that!! Disassembled, dry blasted, primed and loosely reassembled.

Interesting Lancia Intergale hub assemblies. Titanium, cast iron, ferrous metal,and alloy all used. All cleaned and ready for assembly.

Sent a few engine brackets of in the post too be blasted,had them back in post all in under 48hrs,fantastic service and first class work!! Highly recommend!! Thanks!!
