We have just had small plate fish goujons chips peas/ desert...chocolate brownie and ice cream excellent value for money and lovely food Al fresh, definitely call again

Used this as the venue for our child's christening party.
The staff were super helpful and friendly, even though we were running late and could not do decorations ourselves, the staff were able to take care of everything for us and did not hesitate in doing so.
The food was very nice and the buffet was able to accommodate generous portions for everyone (including seconds for many) with quite a bit left over.
Pricing is fair and we felt we got value for money in terms of the food & privatised area for our function.

Had the best steak pie and chips ever. Staff lovely. Fab sticky toffee pudding.

Dining alone, you want a friendly staff. Red Lion staff are lovely. It seems a very popular eating place and the food warrants the attention. Pub food but nicely presented and tasty. If you are a tourist, a walker or just passing through, you'll enjoy your meal.

Great food at good prices. Service excellent. Ate on Monday night Bank​ Holiday. Highly recommend.

This place cannot be far away from the bottom of the slippery slope that leads to the bottom of the Cask ale keg that it advertises but doesn't sell. Service very poor. When did the customer become a secondary inconvenience? Don't get me started on the fayre. The only thing that made my day was the company of my loving family and I could have stayed at home for that. People please take my advice and keep on driving past. You will be disappointed!
