Best service I've ever had in a main dealer

So I paid £14K for a gleaming 2L VW, 13 plate Passat Est Sports, 27K on clock ex RR previous keeper, the words of the salesman were still ringing in my ears as I drove off - "We'll look after you Mr Hughes, we want to sell you more cars". It was covered by the DasWelt Auto 12 month 142 warranty checks carried out - this is how that works it seems to me - it had five tyres if they weren't too lazy to check the spare (5 checks), are tyres round and black (10 checks), do they have a hole in the middle (5 checks - cumulative and in total 20 checks) etc. etc. The salesman said it was fully serviced, the book said 'oil change' - I'm doubtful if anything had been done on it - it certainly hadn't been checked. Just a quick wash and valet and onto the forecourt - if customer finds a problem we'll fix (see below), otherwise ...
Had numerous problems - pass airbag/seatbelt sensor failed - replaced OK. Found rear hatch not closing properly and letting water in & rear heated windscreen found to be faulty in Jan/Feb 17 was told I should have found the defect earlier - not covered by Das Welt Auto warranty - told at time of purchase - 'it's like buying a new car everything covered for 12 months' - not wear and tear I accept. Had to get VW UK involved, problems with fuel gauge not indicating full when diesel could be seen top of filler cap - was told to use the digital gauge!! They had the car for some 10 days trying to fix the fuel gauge problem, had a wreck of a car pro-temp - air conditioned - rear window couldn't be closed w/o a wedge, 136K miles on clock and apparently that was one of their better ones.
Eventually got most problems fixed but not really the fuel gauge. Was told that as I had had problems with the car they would call me in for an inspection before the warranty ran out - the last I heard from them!!
Of course I'll be buying more cars from them!!!!
Once they had your money - their interest waned immediately. I wouldn't buy a used wheelbarrow from them again. Shame I have to put a single star for them - they don't deserve it.

The single most arrogant condecending experience I have had at any franchise dealership ever. Just on the service received here I will never own another Mercedes or VAG product again.

I was left speechless at the way my mother was spoken to by the pretentious receptionist.

Totally unprofessional and totally unexpected from a supposed marque franchise.
