Rethinking Reading

Providing one to one tuition and diagnosis for dyslexia and reading difficulties in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan

At Rethinking Reading my aim is to think about what causes reading difficulties in order to provide strategies to combat these difficulties. I can tailor intervention programmes to the individual based on initial screening tests and full diagnostic assessments. I also offer advice and support such as putting individuals in touch with other agencies who can help them further, or helping to fill in forms for schools, colleges and workplaces to make sure the individual has the support they require. I am an Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association and am able to teach and diagnose individuals with dyslexia and reading difficulties. I use a range of teaching methods and resources that can be adapted to an individual’s particular needs. Teaching can be carried out in the comfort of the individual’s own home. I cover the Vale of Glamorgan, Cardiff and Rhondda Cynon Taff areas.
