Rheidol Power Station & Visitor Centre

It’s another beautiful day here in the picturesque valley of Cwmrheidol, why not pop down and enjoy one of our lovely Cream Tea’s whilst admiring the view and learning about renewable energy?

We are currently recruiting seasonal Cafe Assistants 2-4 days a week including weekends. The role will include greeting the general public and educational organisations, preparing and selling refreshments, cleaning duties and stock ordering. Rheidol Visitor Centre and Cafe opens on 1st May and is open 7 days a week until the end of September! Cafe assistants required for our Visitor centre cafe season in Cwmrheidol. 1 full time position (Mon-Fri) and 2 part time positions available. Staff required from May 1st to September 30th. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain work experience in catering and customer services in a friendly beautiful environment. Rheidol Visitor Centre Cafe is now serving Dwyfor freshly ground coffee, delicious homemade cakes by Mel from Exchange stores in Capel Bangor and a range of Spartacus sandwiches. Come and relax and take in the stunning view of Cwmrheidol reservoir, while the Vale of Rheidol steam train chuffs past along the valley! Rheidol Visitor centre offers interesting facts and information on Rheidol Hydro Power station and renewable pure energy. Tours of the Power station can be arranged by prior appointment.
