Mae Rhentu Doeth Cymru yn prosesu cofrestriadau landlordiaid ac yn rhoi trwyddedau i landlordiaid ac asiantau y mae angen iddynt gydymffurfio â Deddf Tai (Cymru) 2014. O 23 Tachwedd 2016, caiff unrhywun sydd ddim yn cydymffurfio gosb benodedig, neu, dirwy drwy'r llys. Y nod yw codi safonau drwy sicrhau fod landlordiaid, asiantau a thenantiaid yn ymwybodol o'u cyfrifoldebau a'u hawliau. Rent Smart Wales process landlord registrations and grant licences to landlords and agents who need to comply with the Housing (Wales) Act 2014. From 23 November 2016, anyone who has not complied can be issued with a fixed penalty, or fined if taken to court. This aims to raise standards by ensuring landlords, agents and tenants are aware of their respective rights and responsibilities.
