Rhondda Radio on Tuesday 12th November, Gaynor and David had the pleasure of meeting Head Teacher Mark Rees, together with Lily and Stefan, members of the choir from Ysgol Gynradd Llwyncelyn in Porth. Have you seen the M&S Christmas Ad on TV? The seventeen strong children’s choir sing in the advertisement appearing with Amanda Holden, Emma Willis and Paddy McGuinness. - they all had V.I.P. treatment in London...and it’s not the last we see and hear of them!
Our thanks to Wayn...e Chrichton, Rhondda Radio’s Press Officer for making it all happen!

The council are trialling a change to reduce traffic congestion around Porth Square. The signals near the War Memorial will remain on green for longer, and the right turn towards the Town Centre will be abolished. Works to facilitate the new arrangements will be carried out overnight - between 8pm and 5am - from Sunday, November 17 to Friday, November 22. The new traffic arrangements will come into effect on Tuesday, November 19. Those wishing to turn into the town centre are being advised to travel up to the roundabout near the Rheola Bridge and re-join the road to then make a left turn to Porth Town Centre.
