About Rhondda Sea Cadets

Rhondda Sea Cadets have been estalished for over 70 years. The aim of the Sea Cadet Corps and in particular Rhondda Sea Cadet Unit, is to help young people towards responsible adulthood by encouraging valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct using a nautical theme, based on the customs of the Royal Navy.

You should be aware however that Rhondda Sea Cadets are a self supporting local youth organisation and an independent registered Charity managed and operated by a group of unpaid adult volunteers, it is not managed, governed of funded by the Royal Navy.
