Thank you to everyone that came to our Easter parade this morning. We are really proud of how well the children walked into the hall and sat on the stage. We hope that all the parents and grandparents who came along to see the children had a nice time.
Well done to the winners of the Easter bonnet competition and congratulations to everyone that won a raffle prize.
... Thank you to everyone that donated raffle prizes and purchased tickets.
We raised £180 from raffle sales and £45 from parade sales. Thank you so much for helping us raise funds for the children.
Thank you to Dawson's Mummy and Daddy, Jane and Chris for helping out on Rota today.
Debbie, Jane and Becca wish you all a fantastic two weeks off and we will see you back on Wednesday 1st May xxx

A happy child is a messy child xxx Love seeing the children explore when we are outside and not being afraid of getting dirty. X

This morning's session started with great toothbrushing before we went off to play in our favourite areas.
Lots of pictures drawn and coloured in to take home, fun on the carpet with the Lego and jigsaws, and quiet times in the reading corner.
For snacks we had some biscuits with a drink of milk or water.
... We listened to a new story "The wonky donkey", lots of giggles from the children. We sang a few songs, practised our counting then went into the hall to play. We tried to balance on the stepping stones and took turns to go on the bikes.
The morning children got their coats on, got all of their creative work and went home.
The all day group played for a bit longer in the hall before we went back into our room to grab our lunch bags and eat our lunch together.
After we cleared up, we got the frozen dinosaurs out in the tray with some big frozen balls to see how they melted and how the dinosaurs got to escape. After we had done this in the past the children had already worked out how to melt them. They went off to get the wooden knife, the drum sticks and other items to hit the ice with. Before long the dinosaurs were free.
Jane moved the play kitchen around a bit and added new items which the children had lots of fun playing with.
We tidied up and went for a run around in the hall before we returned to the play room to sing some songs before we grabbed our bags and our creative work and went home.
Kaileb had his last day with us today as he is starting in his new school after Easter. We will miss you being at our group, but Debbie, Jane, Becca and all your friends wish you luck and hope you have lots of fun in your new school. XXX

Fantastic toothbrushing by all before we went off to play. Lots of drawing done to take pictures home. Jane supported the children's writing on a Easter card. Good pen holding seen and lovely writing. Fun on the carpet with the garage and cars, jigsaws and the fruit threading.
... For snacks we had cheese flavoured pasta with a drink of milk or water.
We went into the hall to have a run around with our friends, practise balancing on the stepping stones and taking our turn to try pedal on the bike.
Back into the playroom for a story, sing some songs and practise our counting. Well done to you all.
Thank you to Daisy's Daddy, Mark for helping out on Rota today.
Thank you to everyone who has brought their Easter bonnets and raffle tickets in. Can the remaining bonnets and raffle tickets be brought in on Wednesday please.

This is an excellent place for pre-school children to learn and have fun in a safe and friendly environment. Both of my children have attended and both would love to be able to go back there because they have so much to see, do and play with. The staff have a lovely way with the children and make sure that the children develop a good social awareness and learn interaction skills through the medium of play. Definitely recommended!!
