If your a fan of shooting or hunting, the Rhug Country Fair (7th&8th July) is the perffect place to be! There are many competitions and events like Down the line, 30 bird sporting, 2/3 Man flush (simulated game) BASC are also there to demonstrate safe handling and more. There is no need to pre register just turn up on the day and enjoy!
Want to learn how to fly fish, or maybe you just need a few pointers on your casting technique. The North Wales Country Fair at Rhug (7th&8th July)is the perfect location to talk to professional coaches and to local fishing clubs and associations. there will be many casting demonstrations at the weekend. We are proud to announce that there will be a Junior Fly Tying Competition at Rhug Country Fair yet again this year. (7th&8th July) It is a perfect opportunity for a child or a young person to try fly tying for the first time, or to demonstrate their skills. Every child will receive a ‘goody bag’ supplied from Veniard which includes all the materials they would need to start tying or just to top the fly tying box up. There will also be prises from Deer Creek yet again for the... winners. We are extremely grateful for all of the sponsors and the support that we receive to support the juniors with the fly tying.
