Richard Booth'S Bookshop

Cafe is a nice place and the cakes are good with a good selection of drinks , however it is not cheap and there is no Wi-Fi.

I love this place. Every time you think you have found all the books you could want another takes your interest. Amazing place. My favourite book shop.

A+ Customer Service. I purchased a book from Booth listed on an online service. The book was advertised as having a map loosely inserted, but the map had gone missing by the time I purchased it. A couple of months later, Mary emailed me that the map had been found and she then posted it to me with no extra charge. What a wonderful gesture and example of great customer service!.

Amazing bookshop floor to ceiling selection of books. Maybe 3 or 4 different levels. Outside set in the pavement sign saying largest bookshop in the world could well imagine

Wow! Just Wow!

Myself and three others, lost track of time completely, in this amazing and well stocked book shop.

Just trying to get to the cafe took an hour. Every time someone went to get the other three, they themselves got lost in an aisle of amazing books.

The cafe was great, and it took another hour to find our way to the exist, after another tour of extraordinary books.

Having googled the shop for some nostalgic, literature fuelled memories I was disappointed that the screening of the new Starwars film was the first thing to appear in my search. I'm sure I'm not the only one who think's its a shame to see the romantically dusty shelves of the bookshop thrown into the shadows of a multi-million pound hollywood film.

Great bookshop, great atmosphere, and now also really great food at the café!

Got lost in here for hours! The staff is lovely. This is a book lovers dream come true!

Great menu, lovely place, charming staff. But no WiFi - plenty of books to read though 😉
