It's nearly time! Excited! #Beddgelert #badwolf #s4c #shortfilm

In my last post I said good things will start happening in November. Here is my first announcement. This year I worked on a short film called Beddgelert as the 2nd Camera Unit with Bad Wolf Productions. The film is a Welsh spoken film and the first screen adaptation of the Welsh legend of Llewellyn and his faithful dog Gelert. Beddgelert will be broadcasted tonight on S4C during prime time at 7:35 PM GBT. Filming this was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had in the film industry thus far and I am very proud to have been a part of it. A big thank you to Producer Ben Jenkins at Bad Wolf for giving me the opportunity to work on such a thrilling Welsh story that has firmly gripped itself into Welsh Culture. Tune in to tonight! Hello lovely people. Been a while since I've posted much. The reason being I'm at an Inbetween stage at the moment where projects are coming up but gears are yet to be thrown into motion. More to come once the foundations are laid, stay tuned as there are a few things in the works that I am very excited about! Expecting to have more to talk about early November 🙌.

I am very pleased to announce that the short film I was nominated Best Camera Trainee for 'Home' ended up winning the Best Film Award at the It's My Shout 2017 Awards night! I knew this film was special from the moment I was on set, and I couldn't be happier to have been a part of it. Well done to all cast and crew, this is something for everyone to be proud of. So I'm a bit late on announcing this myself, but I've been nominated for an award! It's for Best Camera Trainee for the work I did on Faces at the 2017 It's My Shout film Premiers. I'm so chuffed to have been nominated and I'm excited to see how the final production came out, as well as all the other films. Oh did I mention it's tonight? #imsawards

Back on it again this week! Working as a Camera Trainee this weekend on what sounds like an exciting shoot for a short film. Details expected to be held back on this one until a later date, so keep watching this space for future details!

Working as an assistant production coordinator today on location in Southerndown. Can't give out film details but when I can I'll share some of the lovely scenery down here.

Pleased to have gotten a 2.1 as my final grade from my BA Film degree at the University of South Wales. The last three years has been an educational and active experience, and I am lucky enough to continue living and working as a freelancer in Cardiff. I Primarily freelance as a Camera Trainee and Production Runner. However I am also available for hire as a Cinematographer should the opportunity be available. We are in the final post production stages of Long Coats And Crisp Packets, the first film I wrote and directed myself. I'm very excited to be able to release this short and I expect the release to be some time next month. On route to North Wales for this week's shoot with Bad Wolf Productions. I'm sure we'll be seeing some beautiful scenery. I'll be sure to upload a photo of something beautiful for you guys.
