Wow! What a weekend! I'd been to the Snowdonia National Park before, but seeing it from the top of a hill on a big bike was way better!
I really enjoyed my weekend riding the trails with Phil and Helen, they knew all the trails we were taking really well and scouted out the best ones for us in advance. It's a great feeling to just be able to ride and not worry about where you are going or if you will be able to make it through or out of the trail you are on. Phil told us what to expect before each trail and constantly tweaked routes if we came in to any difficulties!
The few roads we rode in between the trails were also stunning, riding along the shorelines and lake sides of Snowdon and taking in the scenery!
Phil is a great tutor to learn from. He will give you tips on your riding style and advice on what not to do if he sees you need it, also, what Phil doesn’t know about motorbikes you can write on a postage stamp, he’s also bloody good at photography and knows great places to stop and get a few shots in!
You know you are in safe hands with Ride the Wild, and that feeling goes a long way to making it a better day.

We came in a small party on big adventure bikes (BMW R1200GS Adventures). We weren't familiar with that part of Wales, but we knew it was well worth exploring. Local riding groups are generally all on smaller (more sensible) bikes for the terrain, so aren't really equipped or disposed to know where take us.
Ride the Wild explicitly scouted for ADV bike friendly trails, their local knowledge of changing legal status, weather affected terrain, and general awesomeness are so impressive. They adapted the route as we asked for more, or begged for less difficulty. Gave us tips on lines, picked us up when we teetered over, and taught us a lot.
That part of Wales is truly stunning, and you'd do well to take it easy on the throttle and just drink it in. We took plenty of stops to ooh and ahh at things, and take photos.
Personally, I thought Phillip and Helen were awesome too. I just really enjoyed spending time with them both.
When can I come back?
Still buzzing from a great day out on the bikes! Perfect balance of challenge and fun, coaching & riding. The guys were super flexible, put me at ease and showed me all the cool places to hang out. I'm really looking forward to the opportunity of going out with them again

Phil is one of the best I have ridden with, knows his environment, is confident on literally anything a lane can throw at him and is also capable on both big and smaller bikes. I true asset to the industry. One of the most patient and knowledgeable instructors I have ever ridden with.
Phil and Helen really know how to do! professional, passionate, experienced and respectful. what better way to start this Off Road experience and visit the wild part of Snowdonia, one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. I highly recommend it to anyone with the same passion, advanced, novice or whatever.

Had an awesome day on the GS in Snowdonia, the trails are varied and amazing. I can't recommend RTW and Snowdonia highly enough, you will not be disappointed.
Trying to juggle dates so I can ride with RTW again....
Perfect terrain to train on. We covered rock gardens, riverbeds, single-track, slate, rock, roots, tree straddling, hill climbs, descents and off camber. A superb test of my skills that left me wanting more.
Phil and Helen work as a great team leading and sweeping whilst filming.
If you want a good day in and out of the saddle with light-hearted company you've come to the right place.
I like to say a massive thanks to Phil and Helen for a great weekend, I would recommend anyone with a adventure bike to give it a try as I did with my gs and loved it. Thanks again.
I had a fantastic day out (intermediate enduro day) Phil an Helen are really friendly and helpful. I enjoyed it so much I booked on for the double day next month. If you enjoy watching the fantastic videos RTW Put up get yourself booked in for a day with them and be a part of the next video.
I booked to ride with Ride The Wild on Sunday 30th October.Helen said they would meet me at the campsite I was staying on at 8.30am and on the dot Phil arrived.After a brief introduction we where on our way.At the start of the first lane and every lane after phil stopped and advised of what we would expect to find on the lane.Phil's guidance and tips and Helen's recall for the location of the lanes made the ride flow.The views from the trails are excellent so don't forget your camera.Very professional and well organized ride in a beautiful location..
I am a total novice when it comes to off road trail riding, after finding out that talent isn’t included when you buy a big adventure bike I was fortunate enough to win one of those competitions that you think never get won on Facebook! I can honestly say that Phil and Helen are thoroughly professional and knowledgeable with both, off road riding skills and the trails in their area! They have the upmost respect for the land and the people and animals that are present! I could go on and on and in all honesty I could not write anything that would express the fun and enjoyment that these guys gave us over two days! They have given me so much confidence and I have learnt so much! Thanks again for an absolutely brilliant weekend of challenges I would have never attempted without your help and encouragement!

Fantastic day being guided through the incredible Welsh countryside by Phil and Helen. Although I have a left leg disability Phil gave me some great advice and lines to follow with that in mind and I found myself successfully riding trails I would never have dreamed of riding before.
