BIG STATUS ALERT (sorry not sorry)
5 years ago I was going through nothing short of a tough time when I met Craig (we won’t go into that) ... but who knew after that chance meeting we’d be opening our very own fitness centre!
Fitness has never really been a dream of mine although I have always wanted to be a choreographer or a back up dancer (cringey right)! I soon realised when I started group training that fitness was 100% my calling in life! The people, the atmosphere ...and the passion was all I needed to make my decision!
Although I taught Zumba before this, I feel my journey really only started when group fitness came into my heart. Soon it will be 5 years since we opened the doors of the TFL Centre ... that’s right 5 whole years!
We’ve gone through the motions, average fitness classes, Zumba, to Adding hot fusion which you probably won’t even remember 😆 it was that shocking, to creating our own unique system of classes RiKaSysTemZ®️ ... it’s not been an easy ride by any means! There have been amazing times, there have been good times, there have been iffy times, there have been rough times and there’s most certainly been the bad times but throughout it all, we have remained strong in our vision and what we want to bring to you! We haven’t even reached the middle of the road yet ... there are always new ideas and adventures we want to bring you on!
This next few months are going to be a huge part of our NEW journey with RiKaSysTemZ®️ there are some very exciting times to come. Although we have been away a lot over the past few months ... you don’t have to worry we WILL be back!
I would like to just say that Craig and I are eternally grateful for each and every one of our members, past and present. Those who have stuck with us through all that we’ve been through (some even BEFORE the centre) without you we wouldn’t have been able to pursue our RiKa dream.
We know the last few months haven’t been 100% with things becoming difficult and there being big changes at the centre but I would like to thank the instructors for giving us the time we needed to give RiKaSysTemZ®️ the massive boost that it needed, you never know if something will work unless you take that leap! We are aware that some of you may think we’ve deserted you and that we’ve lost our love for Barry crew but believe me we know where our home is and where the rikafam originated and we will forever be grateful to you and your support!
We have a lot ahead of us, and although it may not seem like it at the moment there ARE some crazy times ahead (good crazy) you know us! We want to give you the best
Thank you all for these first 5 years ... here’s to the next! We ♥️ you

🧟‍♀️HALLOWEEN ANNOUNCEMENT🧟‍♀️
As you know every year we do a fabulous event for Halloween! This year is no different... RiKaShaKe®️ Halloween Thriller part 5 is going to be EPIC!
We love supporting the community and local people. We have recently been to Ambito Sully (formally Scope), they have the most amazing project which was started many years ago and they haven’t been able to finish for many reasons. They have a beautiful garden for the users and in there is a half f...inished sensory garden, we are going to raise as much money as possible to help Ambito finish this project, this would be an amazing addition to their already fantastic centre.
There will of course be the RiKaShaKe®️ thriller routine ... but this year with a twist! Along with that we are running an ALL DAY event for the WHOLE family!
Here’s what we have:
All day kids disco All day cafe with food and drinks Best fancy dress costume (kids) Best fancy dress costume (adults) Arts and crafts Live band Stalls (if you have a stall and would be interested get in touch) Games Raffle (tickets can be bought from the centre or on the night) Thriller routine AND ...............

Sooooo excited to get our new vests! This white one looks 👌🏻😲

Well what can't I say having started these classes a few months ago I am completed addict and can't wait for more of the RiKaSysTemZ classes to come to Trowbridge. The instructor are just amazing so encouraging and fun, each session is different and so enjoyable. I generally leave with a reservoir of sweat in every place possible within my body, my legs burn so much I just want to crawl instead of walk and some nights I just can't see as even my eyes balls are sweating but the results I am seeing for myself are worth every sip of sweat.

If you have been to the gym and find it boring or just want something different this is it, I would recommend to everyone and anyone.

So not only was rikashake an amazing class they travelled 3 hours to take the class ���

Makes me happy �� The best place. Always look forward to it. ��

Killer sesson on the bag no pain no gain

I've been going to the centre now for nearly 3 years. I've dropped two dress sizes! And my body is feeling fitter and better for doing the classes! I never really exercised before I tried the gym but after a year I gave up!! Found it boring! Then my cousin suggested rikashake... well I did my first class I was nervous and didn't have a clue what I was doing. But 3 years on and I'm going to all the classes and love it! Always have a giggle and work out at the same time! You pick up the routines and then each time I go I improve on a certain move. I've lost weight, feel fitter and I have no cellulite on my thighs!!! This was a big issue for me but since joining here my thighs and bum I love!! ��� you may be scared to join but it's worth it!!! ��� I love my new shape!

I would never have thought I would be going to the gym 4 times a week let alone become an instructor! The atmosphere is second to none and even the most intense routines are enjoyable! The love and encouragement that you see at TFL is one of a kind and I can't imagine being without it.

I have been going to #rikasystems in Barry for about 3 months now and I absoulutely love it the classes are so fun and I have noticed a massive difference in my shape - toning more....the girls are lovely there and make u feel really welcome. I have previously joined leisure centres before and they have been so boring -The rikasystems are not only good for you physically but mentally make you feel good.....

I have been a member of several gyms over the years but this is by far the BEST gym I have ever been to. I truly LOVE it and the members too ❤️The classes are adaptable to ALL fitness levels and ages so come down and give it a go for yourself. The centre is so warm and friendly can't imagine my life without it... Rikafam ❤️xxx

By far the best ever excercise dance and fitness class I've been to , excercise should be fun , the more you put in the more you get out of it , fab instructors , fab girls , fab time , excellent results xxx
