Rise Swansea Description
Rise started as a simple idea; there needs to be more Drum & Bass in Swansea. After hours of discussion, beers and poorly executed banter, we came up with a concept, a name, and a clear vision of what we wanted.
Rise is currently the only D& B focused event in Swansea, based in Sin City, with the best sound system in the area. We aim to cater not only to Students, but Drum & Bass heads from all over Swansea and the surrounding areas. We have a strong selection of highly experienced resident DJs and MCs from Swansea and Cardiff. As students, we understand that money is tight, so we'll make sure our ticket and drinks prices are reasonable and affordable for everyone.
We are dedicated to advancing Drum & Bass culture in Swansea and feel passionate about the music, as well as the people that come with it. We'll be showing you something different from the norm, with a lot of surprises along the way that you may have never seen at an event before. We hope you're as excited as we are!
Our good friends over at Horizon will be taking care of Room 2. These guys have been the undisputed rulers of Wednesday nights on Wind St for a while now, providing an eclectic mix of House, Garage, UK Bass & Disco. We're really happy to have them on board!
