Before the busy bank holiday we take time to visit Dylan Thomas boat house in Laugharne, what a stunning place

Garfield the friendly stray who arrived on site last year has found his forever home with a lovely couple after a weekend stay here. We are going to miss him but are very happy he is going to be well looked after.

What lovely weather today what a difference sunshine makes to your day, and the dam visitors children made Easter weekend is still holding.

Not the opening weekend weather we were hoping for, but nonetheless we have had a busy few days, and even managed some sledding on 1mm of snow.

The beautiful snowdrops are out, a sign that opening day is fast approaching. We have been busy over the winter getting the site in tip top condition. Looking forward to welcoming all our new and returning guests.

It's now time to start closing the site down for the winter period, Andy and I have thoroughly enjoyed welcoming both new and returning guests and look forward to opening the site again in March 2018. Now for a little rest before all the maintenance starts to get the site in tip top condition.

It's that time of year again, Cade lambs to bottle feed

It's the start of the season with Graham and Tracey joining us as the new wardens we are excited to open the gates and start welcoming new and returning guests.

We were looking for a caravan park that was about an hour away from our new home and feel very lucky to have found this one!

Fabulous site, staff and facilities, we’ve already booked our summer hols there!

We stayed in one of the glamping pods this weekend and what a fantastic time we had. The pod was clean and comfortable with cutlery and plates provided. We haven't camped for years but would do so again here, we found the site was spotless, with everything being regularly checked on. The owners are extremely friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely go back. Thank you.

We stayed here for 5 nights in May 2017 half term. Family of four (children 6&2), we all had a fab time! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the whole site was really clean, really spacious family bathroom.

The children loved playing in the River (shallow ford, easily accessed) even their cousins visited one evening and had a fab time together.

We visited the animals on the site, chickens, pigs and sheep, lots of info and time given from staff to us.

Lots of space, quiet, relaxed atmosphere! We are definitely returning next year, such a great find. :-)

We love it here! Been coming for a few years now. Lots for the kids, lovely shower block, friendly staff and they do little events for the kids for special occasions like the easter hunt. Id stay all year if i could �

We have just spent a wonderful weekend at River View and would highly recommend this site to anyone looking for a relaxing well maintained and clean camp. From arrival to departure we were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much effort for the staff. Easily situated off the main road, the entrance takes you down to a beautifully kept reception and utilities area and well stocked shop. The upper fields where we were then situated are easily accessible up a gentle incline with parking on your pitch. The access being controlled by barrier is also very reassuring from a security aspect. The upper fields have access to clean water and electrics which saves multiple walks back and forth, and the pitch sizes are excellent with nobody being 'on top' of each other. Facilities such as the washing up area, toilets and showers were immaculate and probably the best i have seen on any of the sites i have stayed. Water was hot quicklime and easily which kept waste water to a minimum and evidence of this being an Eco-friendly site were obvious. Within easy access of Ammanford, Cross hands, Carmarthen and Tenby and the Gower I would recommend this site. Can't wait to go again.

We had a great stop over here, found it on the off chance as we were in the area, but glad we did. �



It had some fantastic facilities, some lovely spacious power showers and really good wash rooms, which had heated floors!

Also loved the area, nice little river running by the site, with nice spacious pitches which were well spaced (free wifi too!).



Friendly and welcoming when we arrived, as well as explaining the site and where everything was they knew the local area too, helping us find some good things to do.



If i had to find a fualt; there isnt a laundrette sized washing machine like we assumed, but this was not an issue, as it had a domestic machine (maybe we had too much washing �)



It was split over two fields, one for family's and one for adults, making it excellent wether you wanted a quiet place or if you needed somewhere for the family.

We fell a little bit in love with this site! Stayed in a camping pod with our son aged 3 and our dog. Can not fault anything! The owners are lovely and their site is amazing. So relaxing and was perfect for spending some quality family time together for Halloween... already looking at dates to come back but for longer! Underfloor heating is fantastic, much to the dogs enjoyment! Everything was spotless. Thank you for a magical get away in the “treehouse” our son loved it, see you again very soon! xx

Weather is absolutely awful rain and more forecast but hasn't damped our holiday too much this site is wonderful and clean toilets showers are the best we've come across the people are fantastic and helped us no end. If it was any other site with this rain I would have just gone home to mid wales

Such a lovely site, it’s clean, well kept and a beautiful area. The on-site animals where well loved by our small people too �

Me and my boyfriend stayed in one of the wooden pods for 3 nights here and it was absolutely beautiful. The site is quiet and has lovely surroundings, our pod was looking over a stream and also had plants growing towards the decking so seemed very secluded. The pod has brilliant amenities, it included cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, it had 2 hot plates type things to cook and a mini oven along with a fridge toaster and kettle. Andy and Sian were very accommodating and helped us with directions and recommendations they were also very chatty which was nice!



Would definitely come here again and hope to in the future!

Lovely peaceful site. We've stayed here a few times now . What a hidden gem ! Friendly owners, great facilities and a nice little shop that has everything you need . The site is immaculate and has a pretty little River bordering it .

The second is it's fantastic friendly staff who make you feel welcome from the minute you arrive and can't do enough to help and please. The third the facilities, all you need for a happy stay. The toilet and shower block are immaculately clean. We will definately be coming back to this gem of a site.

The pod has brilliant amenities, it included cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, it had 2 hot plates type things to cook and a mini oven along with a fridge toaster and kettle. Andy and Sian were very accommodating and helped us with directions and recommendations they were also very chatty which was nice!



Would definitely come here again and hope to in the future!

Lovely peaceful site. We've stayed here a few times now . What a hidden gem ! Friendly owners, great facilities and a nice little shop that has everything you need . The site is immaculate and has a pretty little River bordering it .

Just spent a week at Riverview with my partner Tony Cooper, we had a wonderful time, the site is Excellent . The people who run it are lovely and very friendly. Would recommend this site to everyone. Very much looking forward to our return visit. �����

Just returning home from this beautiful caravan site. Its situated in a lovely rural setting. Very quiet site which was exactly what we wanted.. The owners were so friendly and. Very accomodating. The site is well kept with the cleanest and warmest shower and toilet block we have ever been too. We loved it so much we have rebooked for next bank holiday. Thank you guys. Joanne and lee. Xx

Just returning home from a lovely week at riverview. Lovely quiet site which was clean and well kept. Kids loved the animals on site. Extremely friendly staff who couldn't be more helpful. Special thanks to Graham for loaning us his own gas bottle as we had forgot ours for our bbq. Ideal location for visiting everything we wanted to including the bat cave and waterfalls. Was able to use wifi all week but to be honest would have been happy without it, we're on holiday after all. Will definitely return again. Thanks for a lovely stay x

It is Fran and I second stay at River View Touring Park. The first thing that hits you is the quiet rural setting. The second is it's fantastic friendly staff who make you feel welcome from the minute you arrive and can't do enough to help and please. The third the facilities, all you need for a happy stay. The toilet and shower block are immaculately clean. We will definately be coming back to this gem of a site.

First experience & this has set our expectations very high for anywhere else we visit in the future. Graham was amazing... he helped us from start to finish & without him our weekend would not of been so successful.

Showers & toilets are immaculate with under floor heating to keep you warm. Lots of areas for kids to run around & animals to see.

Tesco superstore just down the road if you need to stock up.

A very friendly site with great facilities. The pitches are very generous in size and very well kept. The small on site shop stocks the essentials. Smart modern shower and toilet block. All in all a great place to stay. We had a wonderful stay here and hope to return again in the future.
