Riverside Camping

Marvellous place. Really friendly staff. River running by, dens for kids and a park. The bistro was amazing. Steak done chefs way was fab as were the other dishes in our group. Sticky toffee pudding was great too. Booked to go back again ;)

Whilst the site is in a beautiful setting and clean, I have a pet hate and that is the showers which work on push button technology - I timed one shower and it lasted 7 to 8 seconds before switching off - how frustrating is that! We stayed on a site in Bournemouth in August with beautiful hot water and didn't come via these dreadful push buttons and although busy, no one abused the system by staying in too long and "wasting" water which seems to be the reason behind this dreadful system. When one is paying quite a hefty price for the use of sites, the very least one should expect is a satisfying wash and I will in future ask before booking.

Visited a few times over the last 4 years, lovely well kept, pleasant and clean site. Nice winding river to fish and play in, good size pitches. Playground for the kids and long dog walk through the woods. Ground can get wet and flood risk from river but the staff keep you updated on conditions. Well kept clean facilities.

It's a fantastic location very short drive from local attractions. Campsie facilities are well maintained, and plenty of things to do. Just on the river bank which is lovely to explore with children and the play area is really hood for all children. We stayed on pitch 51 which had great play area views. Thanks

Fantastic place. A covered area for cooking when it's raining (it's Wales) and you haven't got room in your tent. The Bistro is fantastic value for the quality of food and service. A freezer for ice packs is a great idea. Good level pitches and a nice river to paddle in.

It's a beautifully set campsite. Very quiet with river around it. What's good - there is plenty of facilities for free, which aren't free on other campsites - like freezer, mobile charging etc.

Brilliant site and the majority of the staff are fantastic. Facilities are great and site is local to so much. Will be booking again for next and will bring more family.
