Cheap and cheerful small hotel on the edge of Monmouth town centre. Small bar. Lunch not available. No real beer. Rooms and en suite bathrooms clean and quite big. Car park.
We'd read a couple of bad reviews but were pleasantly surprised. The room (11) was very fresh and clean with everything arranged just so. The bed itself was comfortable if perhaps a bit soft but that's just a personal preference. Friendly staff and a decent room for £50.
Easy to find, good position for both motorway and town. Comfortable beds, good shower and nice breakfast. Bathroom could do with a little refurbishment

really friendly staff. cheap priced rooms but the room is amazing we loved everything about it. great location near the high street. loved staying here everything is clean and everyone here is so lovely definitely staying here again

Nice place to stay
Had a lovely stay the bedrooms and bathroom is spotless. The bar was lovely and cosy. The night manager Peter is a credit to the establishment would highly recommend.
I used to live close to the hotel and visited it a lot for a quick pint so I can only comment on the bar and not the rooms but the staff are friendly and when I seen visitors turn up they are very helpful
