Our business started in the early 1960s when Ray Davies, having previously trained as a motor engineer with the South Wales Electricity Board, was regularly being asked to repair cars belonging to friends, family and neighbours, Ray decided to resign from the electricity board and start his own business.
Ray’s reputation for doing a good job at a good price ensured that the business continued to grow, gaining custom from private motorists, local companies and even other garages bringing their customers cars for MOT testing, over the years.
Ray was joined in the business by his sons, who were eager to build on the success that he had achieved.
