Barry Island RNLI Visitor Centre is the first prevention centre in the UK. Fully interactive and fun for all ages.

Barry Island Visitor Centre is the first prevention centre promoting water safety in the UK. It is a free interactive facility that can be enjoyed by all ages. Whether it is learning about the history of Barry Dock Lifeboat and it's crew, manning our indoor D-Class lifeboat or enjoying the merchandise in our shop - there is something for everyone.

You can also book a school or community group visit to the Lifeboat Station and Visitor Centre with our dedicated Visits Team.
