Welcome to the Team Alex! Our newest crew member Alex Day recently transferred across from Conwy Lifeboat station after moving house. Alex is already fully passed out on the D-Class Inshore lifeboat after being on the crew at Conwy for a number of years. Alex will now begin training on the All-Weather Lifeboat.
Following the great day we had with all your support at the raft race this year, we have realised that two of our lifejackets/buoyancy aids may have been picked up accidentally.
Could the raft teams please check if they have mistakenly picked them up and get in touch with us if they are found.
Many thanks

This morning the station was visited by volunteer RNLI Lifeguard Richard Webster and his friends who are all undertaking a sponsored Rust Man (Iron Man for over 50's) event along the north Wales coast. They will be cycling, swimming and running from the Wirral to Holyhead to raise funds for The RNLI and The Open Door Centre.
If you would like to contribute to their event please follow this link: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/r ustman…

A momentous day today in Rhyl RNLI history. Our brand new Shannon Class All-weather Lifeboat the 'Anthony Kenneth Heard' has been launched into the water for the first time at the RNLI All Weather Lifeboat Centre where she has now completed construction.
