Roadside Farm Holiday Cottages

The Granary and The Stables are delightfully renovated farm outbuildings which included the original grain store, cowsheds and stable block. Both cottages offer a cosy and comfortable experience with plenty of options for easy walks from the door.

Roadside Farm holiday cottages is a well-established family run business which opened in 2004 when the owners Sue and Dave Crowley decided to diversify into the tourism trade after many years as organic vegetable growers.
The Granary and The Stables are delightfully renovated farm outbuildings which included the original grain store, cowsheds and stable block. Both cottages offer a cosy and comfortable experience with plenty of options for easy walks from the door. The cottages are situated in 26 acres of land which joins the famous Knights Way walk. This is an ancient pilgrim's route between St Davids Cathedral to the North West and Amroth on the south east coast of Pembrokeshire. Along the route adjoining Roadside Farm you pass through Canaston Woods and Minwear woods and the nineteenth century mill at Blackpool, on the western edge of the woods. Enjoy a walk or cycle around these pretty woodlands. There's 420 acres to explore with a good mountain bike track running through the centre of the woods. It's a fairly easy path so it's suitable for families. There are also numerous footpaths to follow through the ancient mixed woodland. For keen walkers the nearby town of Narberth can be reached by following minor roads and paths leading off the Knights Way.
Set amongst the beautiful acreage surrounding the cottages is a well-stocked fishing lake with crucian, common and mirror carp and bream. All guests staying with us are welcome to enjoy the beauty of the lake for a gentle walk and are also welcome to fish for free.
We welcome your pets (no charge for one pet) and are happy to take up to three dogs for a small additional charge. Many of our returning guests have been staying with us since we first opened in 2004 and each year bring their beloved pets to enjoy the sights, sounds, smells and freedom of our unspoilt countryside.
