Copywriting is all about finding the right words to add value to your business and increase the likelihood of you winning new clients. That means, as a professional copywriter, that most of my time at work is spent, not writing, but listening. Listening carefully to what my clients tell me they need; how they perceive the copy they ask me to write working for their businesses - the mood, the audience it's targeted at, the size and layout of a piece and so on.

Copywriting isn't about copying anything at all - its about seeking original approaches to problems and finding the solution with, sometimes a clever use of words, sometimes a memorable use of words, but always the right words at the right time. . . . for the right reason.

I'm using my FB Business page to showcase and talk about the work i do, but also to entertain and instil in those who like my page a sense of the broad value of the language. . . . it's twists and turns and quirks and surprises. I do feel passionately that words sometimes find their greatest expression teamed with graphics, so I apply that belief here too and embrace the union in the artworks I market for private clients, printed on to large slate and acrylic backdrops and providing a wonderful memento or gift for a loved one, or to commemorate a special occasion.

Most of us can write and many people can express themselves well this way. However, combining that with an understanding of managing the words to successfully catch the attention of a lot of people and producing the same for someone else in an original and convincing way. . . well, thats my skill and thats what I do. . . . and I love it!
