Robinsong Appaloosas

We are a small family stud in Ceredigion with a passion for Appaloosas believing in quality over quantity and conformation over colour.

Robinsong Appaloosas is a small family run stud located in West Wales. We have owned and ridden appaloosas for over 10 years and have supported the shows since I was a youth rider. We love appaloosas not just for their wonderful colouring but for their excellent trainable friendly temperament.


We stand the International Top Ten Stallion Amazing Technicolor who is not only a champion himself is a producer of multiple champion offspring. We offer natural cover (In hand) chilled fresh or frozen semen, your mares are given the best of care whilst at the stud by myself an experienced stud groom BHSAI and DEFRA AI Technician who has worked on some of the biggest AI centres and studs in the UK

We are very much focused on the quality of our horses not the colour, our mares are all backed ridden and schooled to at least novice level dressage (my preferred discipline) some are also trained western and have competed in affiliated dressage and jumping. Our mares also represent some of the best appaloosa show horses winning regional national and supreme titles in the UK. We are the only appaloosa stud to have presented our appaloosa mares for sport horse (or pony grading) we intend to have more of them graded as we grow.

We breed a handful of foals aiming for quality not quantity hand picking outside stallions as well as using our resident stallion to best improve and develop our mares. We have a mix of high foundation and out cross mares ranging in height from 14. 1 to 16. 3 to suit everyone and a wide range of disciplines. All our foals are eligible for USA registration.
