Rockcliffe is a stunning property that can accommodate 10 in the beautiful village of Aberdyfi /Aberdovey situated by the beach in the Snowdonia National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The area is great for walking, water sports, relaxing, children, dogs, mountain biking, mountain climbing and the beach.
Recently renovated to a very modern standard and yet retaining it's bags of character, we believe it is a very special place. There is off road parking for many cars, one ground floor bedroom and bathroom on the same level as parking for ease of access for anyone who struggles with stairs, 3 seating areas inside and a large patio area outside, a games room with pool table, a large kitchen /diner with breakfast bar and table, 1 ensuite master bedroom, 2 other bathrooms and overall the house has 4 wcs. The house runs on an eco friendly ground source heating system and also has a log burner. On behalf of Louise and Dave, (and the lovely, hard working Rhian and Lisa!), we want to thank you all for being our guests over the years. We were very sad to say goodbye to our beautiful home but we know that it's gone to a family who love it as much as we do!

Ready and waiting for our Christmas guests to arrive! (Dog not included! 😉)
Barnaby is the new member of Team Rockcliffe and took his job overseeing the decorating of the tree with great seriousness! Approx 9 months old and still growing, he's been loving Aberdyfi for his holibobs.
He also learnt that eating jellyfish is a very bad idea! 🙈
... Anyone taking their doggies on hols with them next year? (Dogs are welcome at Rockcliffe as you can see!)

Had a wonderful walk up to the Blue Lake today, just a half hour drive up the coast from Rockcliffe. It's a short, steep climb but worth it once you get to the top....the lake and views are stunning...and of course pooch enjoyed herself immensely 😊😊
We've been on a little foody tour this weekend... Visiting the Aberdyfi Food Festival and Corris Craft Centre, which amongst many other things has Chocablock where they make hand made Belgian chocolate treats. We also popped in to see the grown-up treats in Dyfi Distillery where they make artisan gin using ingredients foraged from the Dyfi valley...
The sun may not be shining but there's still lots to keep you entertained 😊😊😊
