A qualified coach, I work with clients from all walks of life – my Roots and Wings approach encourages my clients to connect with their strengths and to grow in confidence enabling them to achieve their ambitions. Specialising in Mentoring Training, Change Management coaching and Return to work coaching for managers affected by the pandemic. My aim is to help clients be the best they can, encouraging them to explore their strengths and exploit their talents, through a tailored 1-2-1 coaching programme. My strengths lie in my ability to fully engage with my clients and my natural inquisitiveness helps them unlock their own potential. I have experience in the private, public and third sector in leadership and business development from Trust House Forte to CWS Funeral Care and in between at Great Western where I supported people through the privatisation of the railway company. An exciting time which enabled me to develop a wealth of knowledge and experience of supporting people and organisations working through change. Fully understanding the anxiety that change may bring, helping people develop their own support mechanisms enabling them to embrace the future. It was at this point I knew that I wanted to develop my coaching skills. Completing my Coaching and Mentoring Diploma with Dave Tee at USW, then dipping my toes into Neuro- Linguistic Programming with the Laura Evans of Unleash Your Potential and then completely submerging myself. My coaching style has developed to meet client needs, I think of it as a roots and wings approach – allowing them to explore their strengths, develop their confidence and to step off the ledge confidently spreading their wings and taking to the air. My work is especially useful for newly promoted managers that need to develop confidence in their ability to manage. Helping them to understand the dynamics of the team and to best use their own strengths and abilities, by recognising the teams values and channelling ambition.
