Rose And Crown Hotel

Shame my room was so small and the toilet was across the hall. Breakfast was brilliant and evening meals great too. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Definitely stay again but ask for an on suite

My husband and I stayed three nights while visiting my sister in hospital and would stay again , staff were lovely and helpful and the food was excelent , room very clean could find no fault , my husband being Irish enjoyed the guinness . Thank you to all the staff.

Went for breakfast there, it was one of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time. Very friendly service and clean facilities.

Nice clean place. Nice staff. Good free breakfast. No working WiFi. Parking is £1:60 every two hours from 8:00AM to 6:00PM and bring exact change. Very close to small shops and the castle.

Lovely hotel and staff. A friendly welcome. Rooms quite warm so a fan in the room would have been welcomed. Breakfast was very nice. Nearest parking was pay and display or a maximum of 30 minutes. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

I will start with the only negative; the frontage, please don't let it put you off, this hotel does not possess kerb appeal. However the place is like a tardis inside, and has excellent contemporary decor; lovely food, pleasant and attentive staff.
A real hidden gem

13 of us headed there for a works leaving lunch. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was very tasty and quality of food was reflected in the price.

Came here to watch the game. Good atmosphere, beer garden and lots of screens. Would come again if in the area.

Nice clean pub. Plenty of room, plenty of tv's for sporting occassions.
