On the Sunday 6th of January 2019 we will be closing for refurbishment,believe it or not it is over 12 years since the Rose was redeveloped last and it is looking very tired,but my god ,it has had a hamme...ring ,many great days and nights and many lovely memories ,along with the hangovers ,a big thank you to all who participated ŌĆ╝’ĖÅWe hope to complete the work ASAP probably about 3 weeks ,we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but we are sure the ŌĆ£New Rose ŌĆ£will be well worth it.ŌĆØNew times New ideas ŌĆ£We would like to take this opportunity to thank our long standing Manager Julie Clement who is retiring ,for her hard work and loyalty and wish her all the best in her new venture, We are happy to announce that Jessica Vaughan/ Page will be the New General Manager. ably assisted by the current Duty Manager Peter Welch ,We look forward to seeing customers and friends old and new some time later in January , we will also keep you posted on opening dates and various new full and part time Job Vacancies .many thanks , ŌĆ£NADOLIG LLAWEN ŌĆ£ Nigel Vaughan and Julie Davies ,

What an amazing meal, the Pulled Pork with BBQ sauce was amazing, the the Brioche brad & butter pudding with custard was sublime ’┐Į



Service from the staff was perfect.

Went here today with a voucher we,d won,

Got to say really amazed had prawn cocktail and my partner had the garlic mushrooms both came with lots of mixed salad,

The Sunday lunch arrived loads of meat and roasted veg,

3 double sided serving dishes of veg ,

It was a huge shame we couldn't finish such a fab lunch,

Will definitely revisit

Went for breakfast and it was lovely, service was good too and we had our dog with us ad they got some water for her.

We dropped in here on Saturday whilst out shopping and it was busy, lively and welcoming. Although we had already eaten elsewhere we would certainly return to this pub, and the food looked wonderful and was fairly priced. Staff worked happily and efficently and we experienced no delays in ordering drinks, unfortunately the welcome was not so nice at the Boars Head so we didn't stay!!!

We always call to the rose for lunch when we are in carmarthen, and the food and service has always been good, thats why we always go back.

Visiting from the US the Rose and Crown was an experience I loved. It was clean, priced great, conveniently located, and had the one of the best complementary breakfasts ever. I wished I had gotten to stay longer. Everyone there was wonderful to us. I would love to return.

Nice bar. Popped in while exploring Carmarthen. Friendly barman and relaxed atmosphere (unlike a neighbouring bar whose staff seemed totally stressed out).

Had a splendid lunch today baked salmon sauteed potatoes vegetable and salad

absolutely delicious, Can't wait to go back.
