We are looking to recruit care assistants to work with one of our clients in a well run and well established Dementia care home in Newport.

If you are a hard working, reliable care assistant with good and up to date knowledge on dementia we would love to hear from you.
You must have a positive and calm approach and be able to manage difficult situations positively.
You will be able to use own initiative as well as following set plans and routines to meet the needs of the people supported.
The Ideal candidate must be patient and understanding and have a knowledge of Dementia.
Job Purpose:
As a care assistant, your caring and professional approach goes without saying, as does your strong work ethic, reliability and ability to build solid working relationships. You must have a positive and calm approach and be able to manage difficult situations positively. You will be able to use own initiative as well as following set plans and routines to meet the needs of the individuals. The Ideal candidate must be patient and understanding. You will work as a close knit team to provide the best care - the team is what makes the house a home.

We will be continuing to take part in office events throughout the week to raise awareness and money for a great cause.

Royal Educare are currently seeking support workers to work for one of our clients in the Bridgend area on a temporary basis with a view to a permanent contract.
Can you provide:
Physical Support - to include household domestic tasks, shopping and diet/food preparation, personal hygiene, dressing and personal appearance.
... Practical Support - the level of support will vary according to individual needs. The main aim is for individuals to be provided with every opportunity to participate, with support if necessary.
Emotional Support - support in a sensitive manner with the ability to empathise and actively listen. To offer advice and guidance when supporting individuals to make informed decisions.
Job role:
As a support worker you will enable individuals with disabilities according to their needs. You will provide physical support, practical support and emotional support to individuals whilst encouraging and empowering to express their opinions and views in all areas of decision making. You will assist and encourage individuals to become integrated members of the local community and promote physical and social presence in community based activities and facilities. As a support worker you are expected to act as an appropriate role model when supporting individuals and are expected to liaise with families, staff and relevant services to maintain a high standard of support.
