Royal George

Good service,lovely home cooked food and lovely lighter than light cheesecake!!!

We visited the Royal George after Googling dog friendly pubs in the area and read some good reviews which were spot on, food was decent proper home cooked chips, and super dog friendly, the land lady made sure our boy had a drink and a little treat, would visit again .

Very friendly atmosphere and food excellent value for money. The price of my lime and soda was also incredibly cheap.

A very down to earth local pub situated overlooking the mill pond. Very friendly and welcoming landlady, good food at a reasonable price. Only fault is that it looks a little tired inside.
