Royal Ship Hotel

Can not fault this place. We are on our final night out of 3 and highly recommend this hotel.
The staff were flawless, very attentive and helpful.
Room was lovely and spacious for the two of us!
The food was also lovely although we only had one evening meal here the lamb hot pot was delicious. Breakfast had the full Welsh, it filled us up for our trek up Snowdon and the next day on a trail walk!
We will definitely be looking to come back in the new year!

Classy pub restaurant..but with no edge..and comfortable just to have a drink in. Went here today for my birthday meal...birthday tomorrow. Had beautiful cider pork chop & my husband had the steak. Great choice of wines we chose and my cheesecake was lush. Rounded off nicely with a brandy and a tia Maria coffee. Great price for all we had. Excellent quality food...lovely atmosphere. We will return soon. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

Managed to accommodate us in the restaurant at very short notice even though they were fully booked. Young waiting staff need a little more training however.

Food good, but not outstanding. Service good, but not outstanding. Definitely worth it if you're looking for a decent meal and a drink in a nice environment, but definitely not perfect.

Stopped here for lunch and some shelter from the rain. The staff were friendly and looked after us very well. The menu catered for a range of appetites and the food was tasty and just what we were after. Coupled with the clean and interesting decor I would happily visit again.

Nicely refurbished, the ship hotel is the perfect blend of boutique and grand styles. Wood finishes abound, traditional trimming everywhere create a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff clearly knew their craft and were nice to chat with. The menu for lunch was simple with many classics you would expect, but ithe food was well presented and tasty too. Good bar and excellent facilities. We have been twice now and will return many more times. Recommended.

We booked the hotel via a well known website and for the price we didn't expect too much. What we got when we arrived blew us away. The hotel looks fantastic inside and out with staff being extremely friendly upon arrival. We had a dog with us as the room we booked was specially for owners and pets. It was absolutely ideal and spacious (check out my 360 and photos). Food was lovely and a great selection of drinks too. Our dog loved it as they had dog biscuits on the bar that staff kindly offered and quickly gobbled up as you can imagine. Overall I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for stays with or without a pet. A perfect example of how a hotel can be a success.
