The Rugbytots 2019 Try-Athlon is fun event during your child’s normal class and its purpose is to raise funds for partner charity, The Wooden Spoon, the children’s charity of rugby.
By sponsoring your Rugbytot to score tries, kick conversions, catch and pass and take part in team activities in a set period of time.
... The top fundraisers across the UK can win:
• 1st prize: 1 whole year of free classes PLUS tickets to a rugby match! • 2nd prize: Free term of Rugbytots classes & a LEGOLAND family pass • 3rd prize: £50 Rugbytots merchandise
• The class that manages the highest score during the event will receive a visit from Arty, The Rugbytots mascot.
• Each participant that takes part receives a certificate, each participant that raises over £50 will receive a Rugbytots rugby ball. Each participant that raises over £75 will receive a limited edition Wooden Spoon & Rugbytots rugby ball.

Do you want to be part of the fastest growing child development programme in the UK for 2 to 7 year olds? Rugbytots is the first of its kind. A specifically designed play programme using the multiple skills used in Rugby to create a fun environment for children to develop basic core motor skills.
We are currently looking for bright, enthusiastic, highly motivated and energetic individuals to join our ever growing network of coaches, in the following days:
Siunday mornings 9am... - 1pm Bedwas, Caerphilly
Additional days and hours are available and can be arranged if desired.
Essential attributes:
- An extremely energetic and enthusiastic personality who can keep children entertained
- Lively, bubbly and fun person with a high level of patience.
- Experience of working with children
- Excellent organisational, communication and listening skills
- Flexibility
- Ability to work in the UK
- Full drivers license and own transport is a must
Desirable attributes:
- A passion for rugby
- UKCC Level 1 Rugby coaching certificate
- Paediatric First Aid certificate
- The ability to speak Welsh
- Experience of teaching or coaching young children
Training will be provided, including first aid (if applicable).
As a Lead Coach it would be a distinct advantage to hold a Level 1 rugby coaching certificate, although this isn’t essential if all other criteria are met.

We're raising money for the Wooden Spoon Charity this summer by undertaking the Rugbytots London to Paris charity bike ride in June 🚴‍♂️🇬🇧➡️🇫🇷
A group of 30+ Rugbytots coaches, franchises and friends are cycling 178 miles over three days and raising money for this fantastic charity. The money we hope to raise will go towards some amazing projects the Wooden Spoon help fund. These include sensory rooms and gardens for disabled children, specialist equipment for children in nee...d, as well as education projects to engage socially disadvantaged children and young people not in education.

This weekend, we had Rugbytots at my son's 5th birthday party. Rhodri was amazing with the children, he really got them excited to be involved and they all seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves. The activities were really fun and by getting the adults involved too, made it all the more special.

I would highly recommend to any parents wanting something different to have a Rugbytots party, it was as much fun for me as it was for my son and in his words it was "the best birthday ever"!

Sebastian was Rugby Tots biggest fan!! Great way to spend an hour. Amazing coaches too.

Rhodri is brilliant with the children and my son has loved his last two years at RugbyTots. It's been a great foundation for whatever sports clubs my son moves onto next. We also asked Rhodri to run my sons 4th Birthday party - which was a huge success because of the enthusiasm Rhodri managed to get from all of the children involved - and it was a big group. Thanks and all the best Rhodri!

My son started rugby tots aged 2 & only just finished after 4 years because he's started junior rugby. Rhodri & the team are always friendly, plus make each session great fun for the kids. Highly recommended for getting kids involved in sport for the 1st time.

My son has been attending rugby tots for nearly 3 years. He has thoroughly enjoyed it while also developing his basics skills for rugby. The coaches are excellent and have a great rapport with the kids. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants their kids to get started in rugby.

My son and his friend had a joint party with Rugbytots and it was fantastic! It met all our expectations and would definitely recommend. It was a class party and Rhodri both entertained and involved all of the kids. He brought the energy and fun he does to each class! Diolch Rhodri!!

My son absolutely loves Rugbytots and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of bringing their child. Sessions are always full of energy and the staff are always friendly and welcoming.

My 7 year old son has just completed his last Rugbytots session after being part of the scheme since he was 3. He is absolutely devastated to leave as he has enjoyed the sessions so much. The coaches, Ethan and Rhodri, are fantastic with the children and the way the sessions are structured helps to develop not only rugby skills but also their social skills and self-confidence. I cannot recommend Rugbytots highly enough! Thank you very much.

Just want to say thank you to Rugbytots Mid Glamorgan for helping Judah to get in to rugby over the last 3 years. He absolutely loved every session and would ask every day, "How many days until rugby, Dad?". The coaches, in particular Rhodri, have made it so much fun for him and always had time for him.



If you want your children to get in to sport, exercise and have a whole lot of fun, I would recommend them to anyone.

Every part of Rugbytots is brilliant for kids, it keeps them fit, whilst learning about teamwork and teaches them rugby skills through fun and play, but also about discipline. It's a great start for those kids who will go on to play rugby later on, for the kids that don't go on to play it is a great fun activity that they will love.

Ever since I introduced My boy to this, he absolutely loves it and looks forward to it every week.

Rhodri does an amazing job with all the kids and my boy and I can’t wait for next term.

Ethan’s brilliant � my two boys love it!

Brought my little boy along for a free session today he loved it. I was very impressed how structured the class was and the children all seems to have lots of fun

I have now signed him up to go every week

Although my toddler was anxious at first we were instantly welcomed into the rugby tots group and he was quickly enjoying himself. All he has talked about this week is rugby! The sessions were well planned, I particularly like the variety of activities and the bilingual use of welsh within the session. Rhodri was great fun, gripping the attention of all the toddlers in the room, they appeared to listen with great excitement and followed his every word. If only bedtime was that easy!

A massive thank you to Rhodri and the guys for putting on such great sessions. Will has enjoyed every minute and no doubt will return in the near future. Highly recommend and fantastic for little ones.
