Rural Skills & Scything South West Description

Alastair Inglis is an Organic Permaculture Gardener-Designer and Rural Skills Practitioner, based at Crosswell, Pembrokeshire.

As well as gardening, he runs Scything Courses during the Summer months (May to Oct) throughout Devon & Cornwall, and occasionally further afield. He provides a Scything Service for land owners wishing to mow grass, weeds and small grain crops, in a low-impact and sustainable way. Also sells Scythes, scything tools, books and sundries.

After completing a Traineeship with Devon Rural Skills Trust, he has added Hedgelaying, Dry Stone Walling and Green Woodworking to his mix of skills on offer.
