We took our grandchildren to the cafe. Emily was very helpful, thoughtful and sweet to the kids. Ryan was great too. They are both credits to Sainsbury's, we had almost no wait on Sunday mid-morning.

The drinks were delicious and to be able to have a hot chocolate made with soya milk was a delight for me.

Will def return - thank you both x

We had lunch on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday in the cafe. The food was great, the service was better than we have had in many resturants and the staff are so polite in Bridgend . We will definatly go back next time we're in Bridgend.

Loved it. What more do i have to say? Got a nice dog toy for mum.

I just want to say a huge thank you to a member of your staff, Chris, who helped me this morning when I came shopping to your store with my little boy. Not only did he get me a trolley, as he saw me walking from my car carrying my little boy, he put the seat ready, helped me get my little boy into it and to strap him in. He is very thoughtful, extremely pleasant and a credit to your team

I just want to say a big thank you for the way you looked after my mum when she went faint in your store yesterday. She had to stay in hospital over night with a suspected heart attack but is feeling much better now. My mum wants to thank Malcom in particular who really looked after her and there was another young lad I can’t remember his name who made sure we were ok. The way you kept the situation calm made us feel much better. It was a frightening experience for both my mother and me and your customer service helped reassure us. I tried to ring the store to inform of my mothers progress as asked but I can’t get through to anyone.

Thank you once again.

Big thank you to the delivery driver who brought our Christmas grocery order this morning. Lovely guy, very helpful and a real asset to the company. Merry Christmas and thank you all!!!

A big thank you to Emily and Ryan in the cafe today, super helpful with my allergy son. Thank you to the chef for toasting his bread.

Well this time I was just using the cafe and changing some lottery tickets... the staff in the cafe were pleasant and the coffee was fine. One irritating problem is the very slow response time of the wifi. Always asks me to log on even though I use it at least three times a week. Staff at the kiosk were also pleasant. Generally all the staff are very helpful, only ever had one problem in the cafe and that was about 6 months ago when one of the men who was serving tried to take my half eaten breakfast away. Other than that alway a first class service.

Had food in the cafe today and seen the remembrance Christmas tree. What a fabulous idea 😊 well done sainsburys bridgend

I just wish they would open more tills. I was there today and had to wait over 15 minutes to get served. Why oh why do they have members of staff standing around in the self service area just waiting for customers open your eyes Sainsbury's and see the long line of people with trolleys queuing to be served.

User

Heaving and sell check outs still closed! Not been open in months! Sort it out Sainsburys

User

Could have done with a few more checkouts open.... I think there were only 3 open, i find the self service tills are a waste of time cos 9 times out of 10 you have a problem +have to wait for someone to sort it out... I had a reduced item +it scanned the original barcode underneath so had to call someone over to sort it out.... It's like having a dog +barking yourself!!!

User

The food is lovely, the staff happy and polite but tbits always too long a wait for the food and when you have young children it's not easy so probably won't eat there again if it can be helped.

User

Poor and slow customer service, the restaurant is unclean no staff cleaning up the tables.

User

Changed so much since cut in staff. Dirty toilets ,scruffy on entry to the store. Out of date stock . No bread or certain fruit at rush hours. Not enough staff to restock?? Still very expensive too . Went to put clothes in Oxfam skips tonight....its like a tip at the site...bags everywhere. I have therefore telephoned Oxfam as Sainsburys Bridgend werent answering...surprise suprise!! I have shopped here for convience since the opening. Off to Lidls, Aldis and Asda now. Bye

User

Your new customer service till is a nightmare massive que waiting for ages and no one to help. Thanks for the excellent service!!!

There was an awful smell in store when we were there on Friday, it seemed to be coming from around the delicatessen counter , it made us want to heave _ really! Won't be shopping there for a bit and we like to shop there quite a lot.

I called into the store as I had just come from the hospital with another raging kidney infection. My brother went in @ 8:01 pm aware that the store would close at 9pm, to change my Perscription. He soon can back out without my Perscription, he was informed by the pharacy assistant that the pharmacist had gone on break for half an hour. I had choice but to sit in the car in agony whilst the pharmacist took half HR break 1 HR before closing. Thinking about why this was necessary as surely if breaks had been difficult through the day at least going off on break at 4pm in the afternoon makes more sense that taking half HR so close to the store closing down. So not very impressed to say the least

Hi. I’m sorry but I’m really not happy with Bridgend Sainsbury’s. Went there for my shopping yesterday. It was very busy. There was only maybe 4 tills open so long queues. I joined a till, waited maybe 10mins, I was one in front of the person paying then a member of staff came over & said are you double up? I said I did t know what that was.

This member of staff proceeded to point at a sign that said double up till and said this is ONLY if your doubling up.

I said to the member of staff I didn’t know what that meant & that the sign didn’t say it was only for double up customers & I had been queuing for a long time & could I just pay on this till. She then said no I had to join another till which meant starting a queue again.

As you can imagine I wasn’t happy with this so left my trolly & all my shopping.

I feel that this really is unacceptable to ask a customer to put her shopping back in her trolly & go and start queuing somewhere else when it was really busy & but queues.
