Roadworks coming over Cardiff Road near Newtown , Mountain Ash Saturday and Sunday this weekend !

A public Survey was taken by Vikki Howells AM and Arriva Trains Wales have acted on the info received. So this year a few extra train services on top of those published are now planned to run on Sundays 3rd, 10th & 17th of December 2017 on the run up to Xmas . Please promote and use these extra early Sunday morning and extra afternoon services running in the Cynon Valley , Thanks in advance !

People of the Cynon Valley this is a Notice of work which will affect the penrhiwceiber /miskin / perthcelyn areas, the one way road from pino's to the Mount Pleasant Pub Miskin is now Closed for demolition work of the miskin cottages between 16th Oct - 22nd November or until the work is finished, to aid the new Cross Valley link , the Diversion signs have been put in place for Glyngwyn Street by R.C.T .As we know , GLYNGWYN STREET is already a bottle neck, EVERYONE LOCALLY THINKS THIS IS MADNESS?, IT WILL BE GRIDLOCK ! 👉The road works on the Cardiff Road side of this development at the South end of Cargarw / Newtown will also be starting soon so expect a few delays on that side as well for the next 18 months 👈
