Even though my reasons are following pregnancy and c-section, this is a group that is suitable for ANY women at ANY stage in their lives.
If you feel that you want to make changes to kick start a better level of self care and healthy living then this is the group.
The plan is that it there will be daily tips, hints, physical exercises, mindfulness exercise, breathing and education sessions. I will have guest speakers offering some wisdom. We will talk about post natal issues, menopausal issues (peri menopause, menopause and post menopause). There will be live Facebook chats where you can get physio advice on all things to do with injuries, training, pelvic floor issues, pain etc. It will be a closed group so it will be a ‘safe’ space to offer support, ask questions, discuss issues, share ideas and recipes and share stories.
By the end of the 6 weeks I aim for us all to have a programme of useful, functional exercises that we can do daily that will strengthen our bodies and minds in a compassionate way.
Join me in starting the process of self-appreciation, self-awareness and self-care. Your investment of £45 will gain you access to the above group. This is the price of just one physiotherapy session. In this group you have 6 weeks of physio input to benefit from as well as all the content described above.

Please ladies...don’t accept that you’ll be using these products for ever more just because you’ve had a baby, gone through the menopause or you’re getting older. They are a ‘stop gap’ until you’ve fixed the problem of leaking urine when you cough, sneeze, run or lift. Get some help with pelvic floor retraining if you’re struggling but don’t accept having to visit this section of the supermarket for ever!

The reason behind the development of this offering is to be able to share my own experience as it happens and to help other mums benefit from the mistakes that I have made with my own lack of self-care following pregnancy and childbirth. My second child was born 11 months ago via C-section and I have totally neglected my own well-being since. I need to start the process of restoring strength to my tummy muscles following 2 C- sections. I need stop this yo-yo dieting where I start a diet then 3 days later fail spectacularly then feel nothing but guilt and shame. I want to shift the weight I put on in pregnancy to help the longevity of my joints and health. For too long my weight has dictated to me what I open myself up to. I need to build my emotional resilience, general well-being and appreciation and admiration of what my body has achieved (even the wobbly bits!). The plan is that it there will be daily tips, hints, physical exercises, mindfulness exercises, breathing and education sessions. I will have guest speakers offering some wisdom. I adore these crisp sunny mornings. It’s wonderful to go for a ‘mindful’ walk. As you walk, listen for 5 different sounds. Notice the different shades of green and colours of flowers. Feel your breath go in and out, allowing your tummy to expand gently as you breath in. Quite often our day to day lives are so busy, hectic or stressful that without realising it we hold onto tension in our muscles, tightening up as the day goes on. So many people I see struggle with pain from muscles that are just ‘gripping’ on. Take a moment for yourselves, breathe deeply, letting go of tension in your tummy, pelvis and shoulders. Turn your head up to the sun and listen to what’s around you. Enjoy your day x
