Charming atmosphere and lovely fields and woods with plenty of interesting facts. Play areas for Children impressed my sister but not me.
Visited in the rain so couldn't go round the park. £2.50 to park which is not too bad as you could spend a lot of time here especially with children. The manor has separate entry fee and was worth it as it was a well presented glimpse into Victorian life. Staff very friendly and informative. Small gift shop and cafe. Cafe was empty but range of cakes and drinks looked good. Also visitor centre and toilets.
Really nice place! Only had to pay £2.50 to park and the rest of it is all free apart from the manor. We did feel the manor was a bit expensive, but I guess that money goes towards the maintenance for it. All in all though,a great day out!
Brilliant place to go if you have children, and there's nice cafe there too. I recommend it.
Great for a walk and a coffee in the cafe. House is worth a visit too. Great with or without the dogs.
Nice place to visit on a sunny day. Have a picnic, lie in the Sun or fly a kite.
Great place to visit and soak up the scenery
