Seaforth Designs Description
Living in a fishing village in Pembrokeshire, I take inspiration from the natural world around me, from the colours of the heathers and wading birds in the harbour and use fabrics in my work to reflect this. Having sewn professionally for many years I also draw from experiences in the past, having worked in a variety of stimulating environments including curtain restoration for the William Morris Society, seamstress work for an Italian bespoke tailor, high street shops and wedding dresses.
In Spring 2014 I was lucky enough to be chosen from hundreds to showcase her cushion designs at the Country Living Spring Fair, London. This was a fabulous experience and led to the Mr Fox design featuring in the September issue of the Magazine and several times on the BBC Spring /Autumn /Winter watch sofas!
