Sewing With Alison

I offer classes in sewing, patchwork and quilting. I also enjoy working with groups, including community projects. I can work with all ages !

I have been teaching textiles for over 15 years. Many students have told me about scary sewing teachers they had at school. My classes are the antidote !
I aim to make sewing fun and accessible for anyone wishing to learn, whether you want to learn how to use a sewing machine, make a dress, curtains, a quilt - or anything else. I've worked in adult education, and with community groups, where we've made exciting things like wall hangings and story sacks. I'm always open to try something new. I currently teach 3 classes with Cardiff Adult education, and one community project with Communities First in Pentrebane.
I also work with a church based quilting group.
