Shang Therapeutic Massage provides a mobile massage service.

The treatments available are Swedish Body Massage, Sports Massage Therapy, Thai Yoga Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Infant Massage Instruction, On Site Massage.

Swedish Body Massage aims to relax body and mind. It also loosens tight muscles, increases muscle strength, improves lymphatic drainage of metabolic wastes and stimulates blood circulation. It can also improve length and quality of sleep, relieve stress, depression, anxiety and irritation.

Sports therapy treats injuries as well as being a preventative and performance enhancing treatment dealing with the health of muscle and connective tissue, range of movement and quality of posture. If you don’t play sports, don’t think it is not for you! Our everyday working lives and lifestyles can create similar problems that can be improved and prevented by sports massage techniques.

Thai Yoga Massage is a powerful massage therapy combining acupressure, gentle stretching and applied yoga. However, it does not require the practitioner or receiver to be flexible, athletic or strong. Each treatment is designed to suit client needs and can be catered towards treating ailments such as headache, back pain, knee pain, muscular tension and others. Thai Yoga Massage uses an energy line system—the Ten Sen—through which the body’s natural life force flows. Blockages in this life force are believed to cause aches, pains and disease.

Some clients may benefit from a combination of these different types of massage. Before each treatment we will doa consultation and see what will work best to get the desired outcomes.
