Shanghai Chef

Hands down the best Chinese food we've ever had. Great prices, outstanding quality, couldn't be better. We drive over 10 miles to pick ours up because nowhere else compares.
I'd give 10 stars if I could. ❤️

I love this place but it is quite unusual. They have refurbished the Raven Pub in North Penlan. The first restaurant was the Thai Phoenix, that has been changed to the Shanghai Chef but it is basically the same all you can eat Thai restaurant. The food is fantastic, especially the starters. It is a very casual place, the decor is tired and it is definitely a bit rough and ready. If you can get over that the food is really tasty. Reasonably priced too.

My friends and I meet here a lot, we love the starter selection. Good value for money too

Very nice food when you sit in to eat, on the other hand don't use the delivery service, it's very slow, so your food will be late and cold.

Has been my favourite chinese for a while. Unfortunately the sea food soup has been containing less and less sea food each time. We have said while ordering about the situation with the soap. But tonight order was worse. It had 2 prawns in it and loads of onion' s . Phoned up and was told there was plenty of sea food in them. I know will be looking for a new chinese to order from.

Most delicious Chinese food! All you can eat buffet is cooked fresh for you. Well worth the money. Can't recommend it highly enough.
