Lovely hotel dog friendly and friendly service and food very good quality
Nice little place with friendly owners. Mike on reception and presumably the owner was top class and really helpful. Rooms are ok and clean. Right on the beachfront so not far to work. Had parking at back and if our little one wasn't playing up we would of had a few drinks in the lounge.
Not a great experience. Room was awful. Dingy and small and smelt of stale cigarettes. Every floor board creaked, beds were awful and squeaky. No running hot water. Couldn't stay the night and it was terrible so we came back home
Disappointing
No mention in the final confirmation that breakfast is charged separate. It's apparent that all the money has been so spent on the front facing part of the business in the lounge looking out to the beach. Shame more attention could not have been spent on other areas. The table cloths in the dining room were obviously not changed as old stains were on them. The walls in the dining room have not been wiped down in a while again old stains on the wallpaper. Flaking paintwork in the small dining room is being hidden by a vase with a dried plant to try and cover it up. The staff can be a little miserable. I asked for drinks from the lady behind the reception who was serving dinner, behind the bar and reception. This does not provide the best customer experience. She was obviously run off her feet. The bedroom at the rear I couldn't open the window much for ventatltion as the room was hot because of the fire escape obstructing the window. Overall for what you pay and the separate for breakfast I have stayed in cheaper and better. Not good value really.
Friendly staff, comfy accommodation, centrally located on the seafront. Perfect.
As Tina Turner would say so eloquently, Simply the best, better than all the rest!
I'd even recommend the Queen (Who I know personally, by the way!) to stay at this hotel, as I know He would simply love the whole ambiance of the place!
Friendly and officiant staff, good well prepared food, comfortable beds a well stocked bar!
Worth every penny!
