Great Campsite. Great part of Wales, with 270 degree views of Snowdonia from the West, sweeping North East and South. Harlech Castle visible from camp site. Wide open spaces with plenty of different pitches to choose from. Sand dunes near the beach are HUGE! Plenty of family fun and lots of pet friendly areas. Toilets facilities etc are clean but could do with a few extra when it gets busy.

We stayed in the south chalet overlooking the sea. The peace and beauty was so relaxing. Shell island is a majical place, highly recommended

Love this place when it's quiet. Plenty of cool spots to pitch up. Right next to the sea too of you're lucky

Wonderful views from this campsite. Pub wasn't bad either with a nice selection of gins to try. Only problem is the showers are all by the main reception which can mean a long walk.

Great place for the family, lots to see and do.
Shops have everything you need onsite. Just come back from 4 day break with wife and 3 kids, 1st time camping and we loved it. Nice clean toilets and showers friendly staff. 5*

Lovely place, but a certain percentage of the cliental seem to drag this venue down!!! loud music till mid night even after the warden got involved. The restaurant, (truck stop) had more in common with a 1800c gin palace, rather than a mid wales campsite. OK its not expensive but you expect a certain level. The irony is that 20 years ago when I was looking for such a place with my mates piled into the back of a 1970s transit van they turned us away,,,,,,,, there's better just down the road so check before you rock-up expecting a peaceful break with your kids. PS: guy in the green and white transport with the bad taste in 90's progressive house music I've left your licence plate with the so called security guard at reception,,, tw@t

This campsite is HUGE! Camped here many times, travelling by car or motorcycle, using it as a base for exploring most of Wales. There's a good cafe, serving breakfasts and food in the evening (great pizzas) and a busy bar. The decor is a bit tired but who cares. Keep an eye on the times for high tide, or you might end up stuck on the island for 4 hours in the pouring rain ;)

My favourite campsite. You can find great little secluded spots if you want some privacy. Great for sand dune sledging too!
