The food I had was excellent, chips hand cut sirloin steak cooked to perfection. You will need to book!! Only let down for me is the cost of the drink, but all were of good quality! Car parking available.

Fantastic old pub. Loads of history. Really interesting. Good food. Dogs welcome. Perfect

Gorgeous old pub in an idyllic setting. Well kept ales though the Taylor's Landlord was overpriced. Didn't eat so can't comment on the food. Lots of space to sit outdoors & enjoy the view plus a sheltered area. A very popular pub and understandably so.

I suppose that if you get loads of kids, plus outdoor drinking / eating, then the glasses must be returned to the bar in all sorts of condition, but nonetheless, every pub should have a good modern dishwasher to deal with whatever comes its way. Well, by the looks of it, the Ship needs to change its machine, because every pint I drank over several visits recently was served to me in a filthy glass.

It's not rocket science - bubbles cling to dirt, so if dirt is left on the inside of a glass, you will see it as a smear of bubbles. Such a shame, because the beer is good, the pub's location is brilliant and the staff are great - they just need to get the glasses clean!

On holiday in Anglesey for two weeks we have eaten at many palaces at a fraction of the cost and we have been totally satisfied, However the food served at the ship inn is just terrible, it is literally weather spoon food at best! And the prices are outrageous you are paying for pub settings with a lovely beer garden and coastal views, DON'T be fooled!!! it does not reflect in the price. You see expensive prices and a well detailed menu and you automatically think this will be a good meal well it was terrible! literally the worst place I have ever eaten And we will not be returning ever! I complained and said that the food was not worth the cost! the bar staff just replied sorry sir, no management intervened or commented at all. I would of still paid the bill at the end of the day as I didn't want to look like a cheap skate trying to swerve a food bill But it would of been complementary for a full apology to which there was none and they were not interested at all. we was still sat down for 45 minutes after our food and no one approached us to give us an apology. Shame on you ship inn!!! A totally horrendous experience for the price of an arm and a leg.👎

Really enjoyed our visit here ...Pre-Booked as it was a busy Sunday lunchtime ..No rush to place orders ...Beautiful food and ambient atmosphere. .

Friendly staff and a good selection of ales. Parking can be a premium with such a great view from the front and a sunny day.

Went to the shipping over the Easter weekend. Can't believe some of the previous comments ratings the food five star. Food was ok average pub food think the biggest problem is the prices £15.95 for fish and chips in a pub I think is expensive. I also think 6.30 for a pint and a half of Carlsberg is also expensive. The staff were fine but not very quick to serve. Would I go again no but only because of the prices I think they're having a laugh.

Very quick service and lovely food. 3x cheese vegetarian option well worthwhile trying.
